McCollum Up By 10 Points, Way Ahead Among Republicans and Independents

Tallahassee-The Republican Party of Florida today commented on a poll released by Quinnipiac University, which shows Republican Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum with a ten point lead over Democrat Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink in Florida's gubernatorial race.

"As President Obama prepares to deliver his State of the Union Address tonight, followed by a visit to the Sunshine State tomorrow, the Quinnipiac poll shows a majority of Florida voters sending a resounding 'no' to the President's top initiative - his taxpayer funded, government run health care experiment," said RPOF Communications Director Katie Betta. "The poll also shows that Florida voters are saying 'no' to Alex Sink, understanding that while Sink masquerades as a moderate, her long list of campaign contributions is evidence that her true allegiance is with Washington liberals."
